When I visited South Korea in November 2024, I made sure to visit a Korean pharmacy to buy one tube and see what the hype was about. Well… one tube wasn't enough. I loved how my skin looked and felt, so before flying back to the UK, I bought FIVE more. When I returned to Seoul in June 2025, I knew exactly what I needed to stock up on again! MY SKIN TYPE: SENSITIVE COMBINATION SKIN: My skin can be both oily and dry, while also being prone to pimples, redness and discolouration. So finding a moisturiser that gives me enough hydration without feeling greasy or irritating my skin isn't always easy. Madeca Cream has worked surprisingly well for me. HYDRATING WITHOUT THE STICKINESS: During the colder autumn weather in Korea, it kept my skin feeling hydrated, soft and plump without feeling heavy. Then I used it again during the hot and humid Korean summer. Surprisingly, it still didn't feel sticky or greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin moisturised and comfortable. PERFECT FOR MAKEUP PREP: This is one of my favourite things about it. It gives my skin a smooth, hydrated base without making my makeup look cakey. I've used it in both cold and warm weather and my makeup still sits nicely on top. WHAT I NOTICED: With consistent use, I feel like my skin looks calmer, more hydrated and healthier.
